About Us

Modal Education is committed to fostering an equitable learning environment that caters to the unique needs of students with special learning requirements.

Our mission centers on two fundamental goals:

  1. Enhancing the professional longevity and success of teachers.

  2. Ensuring the academic and personal success of students.

We recognize the critical role teachers play in this equation; their success is integral to the students' success. By equipping educators with essential resources and support, we aim to promote enduring and effective teaching practices in the field of special education

What we do

Modal Education is dedicated to innovating within the educational landscape to better serve both students with special learning needs and their educators.

We develop and provide tools and resources that aid special education professionals and the families of students with special needs.

Our efforts include the creation of flagship products like Modal Math, a supplemental tool designed to assist students, including those who are Deaf and hard of hearing, in mastering fundamental mathematical concepts.

Additionally, our work extends to collaborations with various stakeholders including disability advocates, educational technology startups, government agencies, and non-profits. These partnerships help broaden our impact through research, advocacy, and consulting services, particularly in making educational content accessible and fostering equity in special education across the nation.
